About Koptos
The Genesis of Koptos
Koptos was born from a simple idea: making professionals’ lives easier through the use of connected devices.
Many industries expressed frustration that their work was hindered by increasing documentation, equipment constraints, ever-growing regulations, and increasingly complex safety rules.
After much thought, discussions, and field evaluations, several ideas emerged. You can find them on the “Our Products” page.
The knowledge and expertise accumulated over years of working in various companies—from small businesses to multinationals—along with my passion for new technologies (drones, electronics, robotics, computing…), led me to create this concentrated hub of solutions that is Koptos.
Finally, the exchanges and testing conducted between our partners, clients, and Koptos allow us to develop and improve our products more quickly. All of this helps optimize design timelines.
Our strength comes from this diverse network of start-ups, freelancers, companies, clusters, as well as associations and institutions, all working toward the same goal: the success of the Lyon ecosystem.
